WMC Global Stops Phishing and Fraud at Scale
With Agentic AI-Based WMC Insight+

April 15th, 2026
New CEO, CTO and additional team members, investment from Trajectory Capital add muscle and financial backing to support company’s latest release and future expected growth

FREMONT, Calif. — April 15, 2026 — WMC Global, the industry leader in mobile threat intelligence, today announced its most recent release, WMC Insight+. Built on an agentic AI-based platform, WMC Insight+ collects the latest mobile threat intelligence to safeguard brands and their customers from malicious digital activity. In anticipation of expected rapid growth, WMC Global has also expanded its executive team with the addition of Manmeet Bhasin and Subra Ramesh as CEO and CTO, respectively. With their support — and strategic investment from Trajectory Capital — WMC Global is well-positioned to continue its cybersecurity mission amid a rapidly changing mobile threat landscape.

WMC Insight+ and the emerging threat landscape

The world of text-messaging protocols is entering a new dawn with the advent of rich communication services (RCS) and over-the-top (OTT) messaging for WhatsApp, Telegram and iMessage. While these next-generation messaging services enable high-res media, read receipts and typing indicators, they also introduce new opportunities for malicious activity. For example, “smishing” attacks are exploiting RCS, OTT and iMessage users within trusted platforms.

“Trajectory Capital seeks out companies that are redefining their categories,” said Michael Frankel from Trajectory Capital. “By integrating agentic AI into their proven threat intelligence framework, WMC Global is closing the window of opportunity for fraudsters. Insight+ is exactly the type of innovation needed by large companies to stay ahead in an increasingly complex and risky digital world.”

Leveraging an agentic AI architecture, WMC Insight+ collects the latest intelligence about mobile-originated threats and provides a rich set of information about phishing URLs, phishing kits and malicious phone numbers (and their relationship to each other), as well as compromised identities. In addition to reporting this information, WMC Insight+ enables the mobile takedown and disruption of these malicious resources, shielding customers from some of today’s most destructive cyber threats.

“Through an easy-to-use interface with API support retained, customers across industries — including telecommunications, finance and retail — now have a powerful system that delivers rich data about cyber threats — especially those originating from mobile devices,” said Manmeet Bhasin, WMC Global’s new CEO. “With WMC Insight+, brands can feel safe knowing that further threat attempts are prevented and effects are mitigated.”
WMC Insight+ will be generally available April 15, 2026 via the WMC Global site.

Expanded team, new investor

In addition to WMC Insight+, the company is also welcoming new team members. Bhasin and CTO Subra Ramesh bring additional firepower to the executive team after previously working together at Dataguise (acquired by Thomas Street Capital Partners and later merged with PKWARE), a company dedicated to bringing security and privacy to personal data across the enterprise. Bhasin has more than 20 years’ experience in enterprise technology, including as founder and CEO at Dataguise and founder and managing partner at PGV Fund, a premier venture capital fund investing in AI/ML. Subra Ramesh comes from a strong software and security background, having worked in Silicon Valley companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Informatica. He served as SVP Products and Technology at Dataguise and chief product officer, EVP Products at PKWARE, where he managed the product evolution from early stages to maturity. He holds five U.S. patents in the areas of security and data management.

Investment from new investor Trajectory Capital marks another exciting phase of growth for the company. Trajectory Capital helps shape the future of technology through strategic investment in technology companies, including those building the next generation of AI tools. Its target profile includes companies in a large, fast-growing market with proven scalability.
