Wireless Media Consulting Releases Updates to WMC In-Market Monitoring Portal
Market Leader Enhances Access to Data and Process Functionality

FAIRFAX, VA, February 27, 2009—Wireless Media Consulting (WMC), the leader in in-market monitoring of PSMS programs, announced today its latest version of the WMC In-Market Monitoring Portal. Several enhancements enable aggregators, content providers, and wireless carriers to monitor their compliance environments efficiently in real time. This recent update includes the following:

  • Statistical analysis module that allows carriers to review the compliance status of any aggregator, content provider, or shortcode on their network, for any time period.
  • New “Last Review Date” feature that allows carriers to see, in real time, when WMC media analysts last reviewed a content provider’s violation.
  • New login feature that allows aggregators to view open and closed audits, in real time.
  • New ticketing system that combines audit and ticket numbers.
  • New numbering scheme for every advertising interception, allowing content providers and aggregators to reference specific interceptions more easily in Enforcement and Response Service communications.
  • Support for Florida Attorney General PSMS advertising standards, including color brightness and pixel distance measurement criteria.
